The Germans take this to extremes, of course, with a habit they call Stuhlinspektion. Your reader may be aware that in Germany the toilets often have a sort of platform to catch the solids, on which (i.e. in the platform) our Bosche friends place a couple of sheets of toilet paper (to avoid skiddies). After they have done they eyeball it all very closely and have a good sniff around to determine whether they are in good physical health.
Of course, the act of sticking their noses in their own droppings gives a pretty good indication of their mental health, too.LikeLike
