You see, I said it wasn’t Conrad, and now it’s official – Phil has owned up to being the man behind Flagrant Harbour, the awfully enthusiastic new blog that suddenly appeared fully-formed a few weeks ago. He’s a Brit, you see, and spelling is not his strong point. Plenty of other clues.

Maybe it was a mistake to put Mackered on my sidebar – he seems to have stopped posting. Typical. Anyway, there’ll be another one along in a minute, and sure enough here is flagrant harbour from someone who appears to be a Brit and claims to have been around before. Don’t know who he was…

I don’t normally find anything useful over at Fumier‘s worthless blog, but one of his readers has decided that he might as well have a go at this lark himself. The result is Mackered, the "Random thoughts of a somewhat confused gweilo." Quite funny so far. Better than acerbic comments on the standard of driving…

My blog is worth $18,065.28.How much is your blog worth? [Via every other blog in the world] I wish it were true… Incidentally, it seems to regard all Blogspot blogs as worthless, which probably tells us all we need to know about the value of this exercise. Oh, deep joy – Simon Patkin has a blog. More later. Via Hemlock. UPDATE: Simon thinks I am being sarcastic. Actually, I’m not – I think it’s a good thing to have people expressing different views in blogs. Now, if only he would allow comments perhaps we could have a real debate.

Poor old Phil at Expat@Large has been suffering from that heady mix of arrogance and incompetence that seems to afflict large companies from time to time. He registered his domain name with Lycos, who then decided that they didn’t want to accept pesky foreign credit cards and so refused to take his money to renew…

Phil was on TV again yesterday night – this time it was Channel News Asia (from Singapore) and I suppose it was late enough not to scare too many children. Personally, I’m getting rather bored with all the hype about blogging. When magazines like Business Week start telling us that Blogs will change your business,…

I have been having strange problems when viewing web pages recently, and it seems that the culprit is Mia‘s site. Confirmation comes from Madame Chiang, who seems to be having it worse than me – she gets "hellfire and havoc" (in IE and Firefox), my browser just behaves very sluggishly [I use SlimBrowser, which is…
