Hmmm. It seems that there are different opinions on this, but I regard The Economist Style Guide as a good authority for modern written English and they agree with me.
Apostrophes
Use the normal possessive ending ‘s after singular words or names that end in s: boss’s, caucus’s, Delors’s, St James’s, Jones’s, Shanks’s. Use it after plurals that do not end in s: children’s, Frenchmen’s, media’s.
but I will reluctantly admit that your usage is also acceptable (to some people).

Hmmm – looks like you’re right indeed.
Now I need to get back at an English teacher that drilled into my brain that using ‘s after any word ending with an s is wrong.
Anyway – thanks for pointing it out – I’ll keep my Marcus’ Blog for now though 🙂

Right? Geeze, Marcus follow the link and note the next paragraph before you give in!
Use the ending s’ on plurals that end in s—Danes’, bosses’, Joneses’—including plural names that take a singular verb, eg, Reuters’, Barclays’, Stewarts & Lloyds’, Salomon Brothers’.
THUS Marcus’ is the correct way to demonstrate the posessive on a word ending in S.

Oh no, it isn’t, unless the blog is written by several people call Marcu (which, on balance, I think is unlikely).
However, I do accept that many people do think that that “Marcus’ blog” is correct – but not The Ecomomist Style Guide.
