I’ve just been reading the hilarious argument between George Adams and the rest of the world over at Flagrant Harbour.

The consensus seems to be that the problem is with the company hosting the website and its connection to Reach, rather than anything in Hong Kong.

George refuses to accept this and insists that his site is being blocked. He obviously doesn’t understand the Internet, and he also thinks that PCCW offers two separate broadband services, one for Now Broadband TV and one for Netvigator. No, they don’t.

Still having no problems reaching the site via Netvigator.
The only problem is that I keep going to the site to prove it is reachable, and then have to view the nonsense ramblings there.

That exchange doesn’t reflect well on Dr Adams at all. I keep waiting for him to triumphantly shout “Bah! Bugger ’em, bugger ’em all! Millennium hand and shrimp! Spyin’ on me with rays! Pah!” before launching into some screed about how this and that clearly indicate the hand of the Li family in the assassination of JFK, the burning of Jeanne d’Arc and the inexplicable popularity of Kylie Minogue.

The thing about George is that he never admits that he is wrong, and is convinced that “they” are out to get him.
He used to get engaged in furious arguments over at IceRed accusing everyone who disagreed with him of being Nury Vittachi or one of his stooges. Now apparently it is Roland at ESWN and my good self who fill this role. Splendid!

Man, I must be doing something wrong. Every time that name comes up, I’ve missed it completely.
And has anything ever reflected well on George? Perhaps that’s a question best directed to Hemlock.
And given Roland’s writing about some sex scandal in World of Warcraft, it’s not hard to see the comparison to Nury. Even Seelai and the backpages of Apple Daily and Oriental Daily don’t leave me feeling so filthy.
